It is believed that pioneering Danish designer Verner Panton shaped his ‘Car Crash’ tray for Georg Jensen after a crumbled piece of paper he found in his home.

This edition of the now-iconic silver design is attentively crafted from a thick layer of glass and powder-coated in a palette that references the designer’s passion for vibrant hues.

Engraved with Panton’s signature, the piece is hand-moulded to reproduce the original design through attentive and time-demanding techniques. It can be used as a eye-catching centrepiece, or also as a tray to hold food.

This tray is handcrafted in Portugal. It is food safe but not dishwasher-safe. It includes four small plastic pads on the bottom surface to prevent scratches.
